Credit rescue service

Vodafone has launched a new service for its prepaid customers.

Vodafone credit rescue gives customers who run out of credit and who are not in a position to top up their accounts the possibility of obtaining credit from other prepaid Vodafone subscribers. Vodafone credit rescue will allow customers to obtain Lm1 or Lm 2 in credit from friends and family who are Vodafone prepaid customers.

In order to make use of Vodafone credit rescue, prepaid customers who want to rescue their friends or family need to send an SMS to 5091 1101 for Lm1 credit or 5091 1102 for Lm 2 credit. This SMS must include the mobile number of the person to whom they would like to credit. The transfer is automatic and both customers will receive a confirmation via SMS.

Vodafone credit rescue is also available when travelling.
