If I may, I would like to suggest that this building be transformed into residential units for the handicapped. My son, one of hundreds, is on the residential list of the Support Unit. As things stand, he has very little chance especially as I am informed that there is no increase in this year's budget for this unit to purchase and finance more homes for our children. Boffa Hospital, in my humble view, could be converted into units of say four persons each so that we parents could at least have our children taken care of, especially as many of us are encountering great difficulties, both psychologically and physically, in continuing to take care of our beloved children.

I would therefore request our government to consider this suggestion so that we parents at least would know that our sons and daughters are taken well care of, especially after our deaths. As things stand, the only option they have would be to be locked up in a mental institution.
