Albert Attard, 48, of Marsa has been charged with attempting to seriously injure John Mamo in Marsa last Friday.

He was also charged with the possession of a knife.

Mr Attard was granted bail against a deposit of Lm200 and a personal guarantee of Lm500.

Police Inspector Carlo Ellul prosecuted.
