I Am Surprised that Mr Daniel Cauchi, writing about the vandal attack on the bust of Joseph Calleia (The Sunday Times, February 12), was not well informed about whom to praise for the project.

Apart from Eman Bonnici, who deserves praise, he praised Rabat council without praising the main sponsor, Bank of Valletta. It is better to check things first before praising publicly! The Rabat mayor only co-ordinated things as is rightly expected of him.
