Ben Gordon scored 21 points to lead six Chicago players in double figures as the Bulls hammered the Philadelphia 76ers 117-84 in National Basketball Association play on Thursday in Chicago. The Bulls' most comfortable win of the season moved them two games behind the Sixers for the eighth and final play-off spot in the Eastern Conference.
Chicago built on a 57-46 half-time lead by going on a 16-0 run in the third quarter in which they out-scored Philadelphia 35-16 to lead by 30 points.
The struggling Sixers shot just 34 per cent from the field and missed all nine attempts from three-point range.
