Sacred Heart Junior School donated Lm145 to BirdLife Malta towards the fostering of a number of trees at Foresta 2000.

The school's Year 3 classes held a fund-raising campaign to aide Foresta 2000, a re-forestation project under way to the north of Ghadira. Through this activity, the school is also participating in Dinja Wahda 5, BirdLife Malta's environmental education school campaign.

With the money collected, the school will be fostering the care and maintenance of 29 trees.
