I refer to the very interesting article Winegrower's Plea To Save Ta' Qali (February 13). I cannot comprehend why someone would want to erect a temporary mega structure next to a very prosperous vineyard.

I know the Miceli-Farrugias' incredible determination to produce world class wines, only to be hassled in this way now that such a big venture is growing and bearing fruit.

I urge the Malta Environment and Planning Authority to consider other sites for development and make sure that Meridiana vineyards come to no harm whatsoever.
