It would leave me at odds with my conscience were I not to express myself publicly and show my gratitude and admiration to all those who assisted me through a short but very traumatic stay at the Neuro Surgical Unit at St Luke's Hospital.

The complete dedication of all the team has to be experienced to be understood. The employees of this unit are incredibly dedicated to the patient and his well-being.

It is needless to mention all names, from the surgeon Johanna Van't Verlaat to each and every member of the medical team and the nursing staff - a very big thank you and may God give all of you the strength to carry on at this exceptional level of efficiency and professionalism.
