Sliema residents are being called to a meeting to discuss the issues affecting them such as excessive building, the selling off of public land, the removal of the Sliema Ferries car park and the relocation of the commercial centre.

This meeting is being organised following approaches made by residents to the Qui-si-Sana Residents' Association, which is locked in a battle to save Qui-si-Sana gardens from proposed development.

The meeting will be held on Friday at 7.30 p.m. at the Meridian Hall, Preluna Hotel, Tower Road, Sliema.
