Accused of damaging car

Mark Spiteri, 23, of Marsascala, was yesterday granted bail against a personal guarantee of Lm1,000 after being charged with damaging Stephanie Attard's car, stealing an Armed Forces of Malta beret and damaging it to the detriment of Ms Attard and the AFM.

He was further charged with assaulting Ms Attard and others as well as threatening and violently resisting several police officers, including Inspector Martin Sammut.
