The Malta Society of Model Makers is holding an exhibition of models of a vast range of ships, warplanes and tanks of various scales. The models have been on display at the Catholic Institute, Floriana since Friday; the show will continue today till 7 p.m.

On display is a variety of models ranging from standard model kits to very complex and elaborate scratch built radio controlled model boats.

The society was founded two years ago, with the aim of uniting and supporting model enthusiasts. This is the second time that the society is organising a model exhibition. Its aim is to give a better idea of the work involved in building model kits. It also gives a better insight of the good reputation that Maltese modellers have achieved throughout the years, both locally and internationally.

During the exhibition visitors can speak to the modellers and get free advice and suggestions.
