Minister says she was misrepresented
Social Solidarity Minister Dolores Cristina said yesterday she was misrepresented by Nationalist MP Antoine Mifsud Bonnici, who on Tuesday criticised remarks she had made about doctors.
Mrs Cristina said she had not been criticising doctors generally and had only been speaking in the context of invalidity pensions.
Dr Mifsud Bonnici denied he had misrepresented Mrs Cristina, saying he had quoted her word for word.
Mrs Cristina said she had been quoted out of context.
