During the storm which hit Malta on February 1, one of the branches of this tree was blown down by the wind. The "experts" who came to assess the damage delivered the death sentence to the tree and chopped it all down. Was this necessary?
One observes several tree stumps like this appearing all over the place. Is this going to be the new trend whenever a tree needs attention? I wonder how many logs were sawn off from this beautiful tree to end up in fireplaces!
