Music students and aficionados will have two opportunities to enjoy the artistry and insight of master Italian flutist Andrea Griminelli in the coming days.
Not only will he be performing with the National Orchestra under the baton of Mro Michael Laus in two concertos by Mozart (including Concerto K 299 with harpist Caroline Calleja) on February 14, but he will also present a master class on the flute music of Mozart for the general public.
In conjunction with the National Orchestra, the Malta Flute Society will be hosting the master class on Sunday at the rehearsal rooms of the National Orchestra, 88, Old Mint Street, Valletta, from 6.30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The event is free of charge and members of the public are invited to attend.
Tickets for the February 14 concert are available from the Manoel Theatre's booking office.
