Xerox Corporation has earned nine awards for its colour printers, copiers and multifunction products from Better Buys for Business, a recognised industry authority on office imaging equipment; Buyers Laboratory Inc., a leading testing lab; and CRN, a publication focused on information technology and distribution channels.
In its 2006 Colour Copier Guide, Better Buys for Business awarded its top Editor's Choice designation to the Xerox WorkCentre C2424 colour multifunction system, CopyCentre C3545 colour copier, WorkCentre Pro C3545 advanced colour multifunction system, and DocuColor 12, DocuColor 3535 and DocuColor 250 colour copier-printers.
The awards are based on the evaluation of hundreds of models from major competitors, feedback from customers, hands-on testing, and in-depth user surveys.
"Xerox continues to deliver outstanding colour document technology to graphic artists and offices small to large," Steve Hannaford, editor-in-chief, Better Buys for Business, said. "Year after year, Xerox adds power and options to an already established portfolio of colour copiers, printers and office multifunction systems."
As part of its Pick of the Year announcements, Buyers Lab selected the Xerox DocuColor 240 and 250 colour copier-printers in the production colour printing category. The products were honoured for "exceptional ease of use, very good output quality and productivity".
In addition, CRN Test Centre engineers selected the Xerox Phaser 6350DP colour printer as a Product of the Year in the printer category "based on its easy setup, top performance and high reliability".
Xerox finished 2005 with more than 320 awards worldwide for its colour and black-and-white printers, office scanners, digital copiers, multifunction systems, and high-speed digital production systems.
Xerox has also earned accolades for its growing suite of consulting services, workflow solutions and software designed to streamline document-intensive business processes.
