Christopher Gingell Littlejohn, 30, has been appointed revenue manager at InterContinental Malta.
Having graduated in political science at the University of Malta, Mr Gingell Littlejohn joined the tourism industry in 1998, working for a local destination management company for two years. He joined the Crowne Plaza Malta's sales team in 2000 and, on his departure, occupied the post of acting director of sales and marketing.
He joined the InterContinental Malta at the end of 2005 as revenue manager and is mainly responsible for maximising the hotel's revenue.
"Moving to the InterContinental Malta is in itself exceedingly challenging," Mr Gingell Littlejohn said. "It's different, both in terms of product and standard.
"There is a belief that we're going places, and it's great to be able to contribute towards a sustained success."
