Obituary

APPS. On February 2, at St Luke's Hospital, ALFRED of Sliema, aged 66, went to meet the Risen Lord comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Carmen, his sons Matthew, Conrad and his wife Caroline Jane, his grandchildren Jessica, Emma and Thomas, his brothers Joseph and Edwin, his sister Astrid, brothers and sisters-in-law, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital today at 8.30 a.m. for St Gregory's parish church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.45 a.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siggiewi, will be appreciated. Grant him, O Lord, eternal rest.

CAMILLERI. On February 3, Josephine née Farrugia of Zurrieq, aged 55, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church and surrounded by her family. She leaves to mourn her great loss her beloved husband Louis, her son Frankie and his fiancée Eliza, her daughters Rosemarie and her husband Ruben and Dorothy and her fiancé Mark, her adorable grandchildren Celine and Julian, her mother Maria, her brothers and sister, in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital today at 2.30 p.m. for St Catherine's parish church in Zurrieq, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3.30 p.m. followed by interment at San Leone cemetery in Zurrieq. Lord grant her eternal rest.

FENECH. On February 2, at St Luke's Hospital, TARCISIO, aged 68, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Yvonne, his son Patrick and his wife Antoinette, his grandchildren Kurt and Lara, his sisters Carmen and her husband Jim, Rita, Salvina and her husband Charles, other relatives and friends. - R.I.P. The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital today at 8 a.m. for Balzan parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m., followed by interment at Lija cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siggiewi, will be appreciated.

Mdina car park

Owing to road surfacing works at Mdina bridge/main gate and San Publiju Square, Mdina, part of the car park at Saqqajja, adjacent to the playing field, will be assigned temporarily for parking by Mdina residents only from Monday until further notice.

Missing car

A grey Renault registration number IAG 362 was reported stolen from Hamrun on Monday afternoon. Anyone spotting the car is requested to contact the owner on 2123 1128 or 2137 5075 or the police.

Power cut

The electricity supply in Zebbug will be suspended today between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. in Pawlu Mifsud, Gharram, and il-Kataniz streets and parts of Melilli and Vincenzo Adrijario streets.
