A 16-year-old lad was yesterday charged with trafficking in cannabis on and before February, two years ago. Magistrate Lawrence Quintano heard the teenager, of Ta' Xbiex, plead not guilty to the possession of cannabis and trafficking in the drug. He also pleaded not guilty to the possession of a psychotropic drug on and before January 2004.

Police Inspector Josric Mifsud prosecuted.

Lawyer Joseph Giglio appeared for the accused.
