BirdLife Malta is running the fifth edition of the Dinja Wahda (One World) campaign, an environmental education project offering a selection of green activities specifically aimed at primary schoolchildren.

Since the launch of the Dinja Wahda 2005/6 edition last November, several schools have confirmed participation.

One of the activities for children over Christmas was the creation of decorations and Christmas cards from used or recycled materials. The children's creativity also emerged in producing robin pompoms made out of wool - another activity carried out by many of the schools.

At the end of the scholastic year the school with most points is awarded a trophy.
