A clerical error by the Six Nations disciplinary committee has opened the door for flanker Lewis Moody to play in England's opening Six Nations match against champions Wales at Twickenham.

Moody was suspended for nine weeks after fighting with Samoa winger Alesana Tuilagi in the team's Twickenham clash on November 26.

The ban was originally said to be between Nov. 26 and Jan. 29, which meant he was unable to play a single match before England's opener.

However, the Six Nations committee said on Tuesday that the ban should end tomorrow, which makes the openside specialist available for Leicester's Premiership game against Sale on Saturday.
