A 16-year-old boy was yesterday charged with breaking into three cars between April and May last year.

Magistrate Miriam Hayman heard the boy, of Qormi, plead not guilty to stealing several items, including Hi-Fi equipment from the cars, damaging the cars and breaching the conditions of a previous release.

Police Inspector Raymond Cassar prosecuted.

Lawyer Franco Debono appeared for the boy.
