A 25-year-old woman was yesterday conditionally discharged for a year when she admitted to assaulting four police officers and slightly injuring a sergeant and constable on Monday.

Sharon Briffa, of Ta' Xbiex, admitted to threatening and assaulting police, slightly injuring two officers and breaching the peace in Paceville at 3 a.m.

Magistrate Antonio Mizzi presided over the case.

Police Inspector Mario Tonna prosecuted. Lawyer Franco Debono appeared for Ms Briffa.
