Personalities from the worlds of music, television and politics will serve patrons at Heat restaurant at the Valletta Waterfront on February 1 to raise funds for the Kilimanjaro Challenge Project - the building of a convent and medical centre in the Ethiopian village of Bulbula.

Some Lm12,000 still need to be raised to meet the Lm38,000 target.

Served By The Stars, which will begin at 8 p.m., will feature, among others, Ira Losco, Gianni, Moira Delia, Lou Bondì, Rachel Attard, Claire Agius, Andrea Cassar and the Liquorish team, Joseph Chetcuti, the Zinners team, Scream Daisy and a number of politicians.

The Kilimanjaro Challenge Project has already overcome its first hurdle, with 19 trekkers recently making it to the Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa at almost 20,000 feet. This achievement helped raise Lm26,000.
