I cringe when I hear the term in Maltese "hasil tal-flus". Obviously when one launders money one is not washing the currency literally but rather figuratively speaking.

If there is no better Maltese translation then perhaps the British term ought to be used.

So now I guess we will have to put up with the term hasil tal-ewro. Give us a break.
