Proceeds from the mega concert held by Stagecoach Malta students last June were presented to the Puttinu Cares Children's Support Group and the Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus Association.
Stagecoach opened its first theatre school in October 1998 and now boasts nine schools in Malta and one in Gozo. The Stagecoach Malta mega concert is held every year in aid of various charities and includes songs from musicals as well as other popular tunes.
Stagecoach Malta senior principal, Edward Mercieca said: "We strongly believe that if children are lucky enough to come to Stagecoach, then they should put their talents to good use and help raise money for children who are not so lucky."
The next mega concert, entitled Vocal Aid, will take place under the musical direction of Ruth Sammut Casingena at the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valletta in May.
