The British High Commissioner to Malta, Sir Vincent Fean has been presented with a copy of Malta In World War II: Contemporary Watercolours By Alfred Gerada (1940-1942), Volume One by the book's author, Albert Ganado.

Sir Vincent accepted the volume and congratulated Dr Ganado on his efforts to bring the evocative works of Gerada, depicting scenes from some of Malta and Britain's darkest hours.

Dr Ganado is a keen collector of melitensia and is the president of the Malta Historical Society. He is also vice-president of the Maltese Association of the Sovereign Military Order of St John and chairman of the cultural panel of the Malta and Environment and Planning Authority.

The book is published by PEG Ltd and is available in all good bookshops.
