Last month, San Anton Middle school organised its annual Christmas concert, 'Christmas with the Stars'. For the first time it was held at Attard parish hall.

The programme consisted of a number of playlets in which all the Grade 4 and Grade 5 children took part, and a series of Christmas songs performed by the Middle School Choir.

Choir direction and all the musical arrangements were entrusted to Michelle Abela, the music teacher in the Middle School, and Angele Coppini directed all the playlets.

The main playlet, entitled Nestu Tumbrellu u l-Istorja tal-Milied, was written by Anna Pullicino, a teacher at San Anton Senior School. Jackie Fenech, art teacher in the Middle School, designed the backdrops and props.

The Christmas concert is just one of many cultural activities that are organised by San Anton School throughout the year.

The staff and students at San Anton Middle School put a great deal of time and effort in organising these events as they give the parents and relatives the opportunity to see for themselves the confidence and pride that the children acquire during their years at the school.
