Mepa seeks guidance on Baroque house

The Development Control Commission (DCC) within the Malta Environment and Planning Authority has decided to refer an application for the development of a Baroque house in Sliema opposite the Hole in the Wall pub in High Street to Mepa's Committee for Guidance.

The committee will then recommend to Mepa whether permission should be granted for the development of this site.

A Mepa spokesman said the decision was made after one of the entities which Mepa had consulted over this development had second thoughts about whether the façade of the building should also be demolished. The spokesman declined to name the entity involved.
