A total of 15,102 vehicles failed their first VRT between January and November last year while 40 failed the re-test, Roads Minister Jesmond Mugliett told Jason Azzopardi (PN) in reply to a parliamentary question yesterday. He said 110,861 tests were made.

During 2004, 106,100 VRTs were made, 12,534 vehicles failed the first test and 38 failed the re-test.
