This is the fourth Emirates cabin crew recruitment drive to be held in Malta within a short period of eight months.
The Emirates' recruitment team will be visiting Malta later this month to interview potential candidates.
Candidates will have the opportunity to meet the recruitment team at an Open Day on January 21 at the InterContinental Hotel, St George's Bay, starting at 9 a.m.
Interested applicants are required to present their résumé together with full length and passport size photographs in business attire. Alternatively, candidates can forward their applications online through www.emiratesgroupcareers. com.
Successful candidates will be invited to attend further interviews during the screening day on January 22. Final interviews will be held from January 23-24.
"With our rapid growth, Emirates is always seeking exceptional new people to join our ranks. We employ people from over 120 different nationalities, all trained to the highest standards, to cater for the truly multicultural clientele on our network of over 77 destinations," Paul Fleri Soler, Emirates' manager for Malta and Cyprus, said.
"This is a great opportunity for Maltese men and women to join one of the world's fastest growing airlines. Emirates offers endless career opportunities.
"High performing Maltese cabin crew have been able to attain the position of flight purser within five years or even pursue a career as cabin service trainer. It is by no means a dead end job; opportunities exist for our hard working Maltese youths if they want to pursue them," he added.
The selected candidates will be given specialised training in Dubai. On completing the introductory course for cabin crew, they will join more than 68 Maltese nationals who are already working for the Dubai-based airline.
Candidates should have an education up to, at least, matriculation level and be fluent in written and spoken English and Maltese. The ability to communicate in other languages and previous customer service experience are considered as added advantages.
Being based in Dubai, Emirates offers its cabin crew an international lifestyle, an attractive tax-free salary including free quality accommodation and the opportunity to work with an award winning multicultural team.
Salaries for cabin crew are very competitive and packages of attractive travel benefits and excellent professional development opportunities are available.
