THE Ralph Arrigo Lecture, organised by the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, is funded by a foundation set up several years ago in memory of Ralph Arrigo, specifically to promote education and the latest medical advances in Malta. Eminent medical practitioners are invited to deliver this lecture.

The tenth Ralph Arrigo Lecturer is Professor Nicholls, Professor of Colorectal Surgery at Imperial College, University of London. He will be delivering the lecture entitled "The History of Surgery for Ulcerative Colitis" at the Medical School Conference Hall, Guardamangia, on Friday at 8 p.m.
