Certificate of appreciation for Mosta Primary B

Mosta Primary School B was recently presented with a special certificate of appreciation by Mgr Victor Grech for its constant and heartfelt support to Caritas Malta.

"It's a pleasure for me to visit this school and meet the pupils who each year do their utmost to show solidarity with those in need", Mgr Grech said while addressing the 400-odd children there.

"As I look out at this assembly of orderly, attentive children, who are loved and care for by their parents, it is good for us to remember that there are others who are not so lucky", he added.

Headmaster Alex Attard inspired his students to raise Lm1,800 in connection with World Run Day. For this effort, the school was rewarded by Messrs Intercomp of Marsa, who donated a Dell Computer OptiPlex 170L SD to the school.  

Shanice Borg, Ryan Vassallo, Giancarlo Sammut and Raquel Micallef read out their messages to Mgr Grech.

Other pupils were awarded prizes which were also connected to World Run Day, including a Sony Playstation, a Fuji Finepix digital camera and various weekend breaks and dinners donated by Island Hotels Group.
