A new collective agreement for Zammit Clapp Hospital employees has been signed by the hospital management and the Union Haddiema Maghqudin.

UHM health services section secretary John M. Briffa explained that, through this agreement, employees' salaries will be the same as those for public service employees according to the collective agreement for the public sector. The Zammit Clapp Hospital agreement also provides for reduced hours and pre-retirement leave schemes.
