Silent and dark nights

It is already embarrassing to have power cuts in restaurants during meals on weekdays, let alone weekends!

But to have power cuts for hours on Christmas and New Year's eves, as happened out of the blue at Is-Sajjied Restaurant, Marsaxlokk, is not only embarrassing to owners and patrons alike, but is unthinkable when one considers that on these special nights one goes out to restaurants with family or friends not only for a tasty meal, which one can easily have at home, but for a whole night of entertainment.

Apologies do not fill the seats of those who leave!
