Injured in traffic accident

A 26-year-old Gozitan priest was hospitalised but is not in danger of dying after he was involved in a traffic accident in the limits of Nadur yesterday, the police said.

The priest who was driving a Ford Escort crashed into a tree while going along Triq Ta' Xhajma. Members of the Civil Protection Department were called to extricate him from the car.
