Marsaxlokk's Frendo top performer in December

The young Marsaxlokk FC forward Cleaven Frendo has been named BoV Player of the Month for December, the second time since the start of the 2005-2006 season that the player has landed this honour.

Consistently good performances for his team, backed by extraordinary scoring ability, have been the hallmarks of this ebullient striker throughout these last months.

He is currently topping the goalscorers' list, having netted ten goals so far this season.

More goals from him in December have helped his team bounce back into the limelight as Marsaxlokk managed to cut down the points' deficit from the top three teams in the Premier League.
