Recurrent revenue in the first 11 months of 2005 totalled Lm751.3 million and made up 83.5 per cent of this year's budget forecast, the National Statistics Office said.

Compared to the same period last year, this represents an increase of Lm83.1 million, or 12.4 per cent.

At the same time, total expenditure amounted to Lm844.7 million, an increase of Lm47.4 million, or six per cent, over the Lm797.3 million spent in the same period last year.

The shortfall between recurrent revenue and total expenditure in the period under review amounted to Lm93.4 million against Lm129.1 million a year ago.
