A group of St Martin's College students recently had their promotion test grading for Taekwondo's Yellow Tab belt. The activity, at Swatar, was conducted by instructor Joseph Azzopardi in the presence of 3rd Dan Brian Saliba, an observer from the Malta Taekwondo Federation.

Beside the sporting aspect, Taekwondo instils discipline in the young martial artists and contributes directly to a healthy mind and body. Taekwondo is an Olympic sport, gaining popularity abroad and even on our shores.

At present, Taekwondo training for those aged between six and 16 years is being held on Tuesdays and Fridays at St Martin's. One may obtain more details by phoning 9942-4983 or 9945-2010.
