UK tour operator Sunspot Tours Ltd has celebrated 25 years of selling holidays to Malta and Gozo.
All the 80 staff members at the company's head office in Kent were flown to Malta to join in the celebrations marking the milestone.
Sunspot Tours Ltd is a full member of the UK Association of Independent Tour Operators whose charter obliges tour operators to strive to create overseas holidays with a high level of professionalism and a shared concern for quality and personal service.
Based in Cranbrook, Kent, the company is managed by Martin Bugeja and his brother Nicholas, both having extensive knowledge of the business by virtue of having founded and run Sunspot Tours from its inception in 1980.
Over the past 25 years, Sunspot Tours has established itself as a market leader selling holidays to Malta and other destinations. It employs a staff of 80 in the UK with another 17 employed in Malta by Sunspot Tours (Malta) Ltd.
The group handles 45,000 passengers a year, visiting both Malta and Gozo, and close to a similar number to various other destinations.
Its board members are leading business entrepreneurs from various enterprises inclusive of UK travel trade and the media.
