Seasonally adjusted industrial production fell by 0.8 per cent in the eurozone last October compared to September, according to estimates by Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Communities.

Output in the EU25 fell by 0.7 per cent after increases of 0.1 per cent in September and of 0.3 per cent in August.

Compared to October last year, industrial production in October this year rose by 0.1 per cent in the euro zone and by 0.2 per cent in the EU25.
