The Friends of the Crib are displaying Christmas cribs at St Francis Hall, Melita Street, Valletta, today from 9.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. and between 4.30 and 7 p.m.

A large mechanical crib will be on show at 37, St Dominic Street, Attard, till January 1. Opening hours are weekdays from 5.30 to 8 p.m. and Sundays and public holidays from 9 a.m. till noon and 4.30 to 8 p.m.

Carmelo Camenzuli is putting up a crib measuring 80 square feet with light and water effects at 134, "Redentur" Garage, Glormu Cassar Street, Mosta. The exhibition is open till January 3, between 5 and 9 p.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m. till noon and 3 to 9 p.m. on Sundays and public holidays.

For the 15th year, Mario Farrugia and his father Philip are presenting another artistic crib at Dar Santa Marija, 67, Glormu Cassar Street, Mosta. The crib is made of papier-mâché, covering an area of 70 square feet including figurines by Noel Cauchi, and will be on display till January 3. Opening hours are weekdays from 5.30 to 8.30 p.m., and Sundays and public holidays from 10 a.m. to noon and 4.30 to 8.30 p.m.

Franklyn Pace is exhibiting a crib at 71, Main Street, Birkirkara, till January 3 between 5 and 8 p.m. on weekdays, and Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 9.30 a.m. till noon and from 5 to 8 p.m.

Rosalino and Ignatius Saliba are holding an exhibition of cribs at La Rosa Mansions Garage, Good Shepherd Avenue, Balzan, till January 3. Opening hours are weekdays from 5 to 8 p.m., and Sundays and public holidays from 10 a.m. till noon and from 5 to 8 p.m.

A mechanical crib by Raymond Cassar is being displayed at 88, Evergreen, Triq is-Saghtar, Qormi till January 6. Opening hours are weekdays from 5.30 to 8.30 p.m., and weekends and public holidays from 9 a.m. till noon and 3 to 8.30 p.m.

Fredu Muscat is displaying a static crib at 56, Main Street, Birkirkara, till January 3. It can be viewed on weekdays from 4 to 8.30 p.m., and Sundays and public holidays from 9 a.m. till noon and from 4 to 8.30 p.m.

Raymond Deguara is putting up two cribs at the Nicolò Isouard Band Club, Rotunda Square, Mosta. One of them includes light and water mechanics by Mario Ebejer and terracotta figurines of various sizes by Joe Camilleri from Victoria, Gozo.

The other crib includes figurines by Josef Debattista who is also from Victoria. Deguara won first place during a competition for large, static cribs in 2003 and also first place in the category for original cribs last year.

The exhibition is open till January 8 daily from 10 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and 4 to 9 p.m., and Sundays and public holidays from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and 3 to 9 p.m. For group visits call 7937-0000.
