Music award winners

Ivan Filletti won the Bay Music Award for best solo artist, Wintermoods the award for best song with Closer; Corkscrew for best band and Tenishia for the best newcomer in the second edition of the 89.7 Bay awards held at the Eden Arena.

The awards recognise local talent in the music industry. DJ Ruby and Marc from U-Bahn won the award for best remix and another song by Wintermoods won an award for best song ever played on Bay.

89.7 Bay listeners voted for the winners.

The singers joined up for a rendition of Freddie Portelli's Mur U Hallini, until Mr Portelli himself appeared on stage and took over, mike in hand!
