A 21-year-old man was yesterday conditionally discharged for two years when he admitted to stealing cash.

Rosman Busuttil, of Zabbar, pleaded guilty to stealing under Lm1,000 to the detriment of Malcolm Pullicino on September 20.

On handing down judgement, Magistrate Consuelo Scerri Herrera noted that Mr Busuttil had filed a guilty plea, had cooperated with the police and had paid back the money.

Police Inspector Joseph Mercieca prosecuted.
