Could somebody please explain to me why bus number 667, on the direct route from St Andrews to Valletta (via the university), has been completely re-routed?

The whole point of this direct route was to be able to avoid the chaos and confusion in Sliema and Gzira. The new route now goes all the way through Sliema, turns through Gzira, then on to university and finally Valletta.

On a good day the previous route would take somebody 15 minutes to get from St Andrews to the university. It now takes 45 minutes due to traffic in the area and stopping to pick up people who are going straight to Valletta.

These people do not need to be on the bus going to the university. There are so many other buses that go through St Julians, Sliema and Gzira on the way to Valletta; why stop the only direct bus that was so convenient to us students?
