Second phase of PN headquarters

The Nationalist Party yesterday embarked on the second phase of the building of its new headquarters in Pietà.

Party leader Lawrence Gonzi, who visited the first phase of the building yesterday, launched a fund-raising marathon to be held next Tuesday, Republic Day.

The PN will hold an open day on Tuesday to show the progress achieved so far. The marathon will be broadcast live on NET TV.

Dr Gonzi said the PN's target is to complete by 2007 the second part of the structure which will house the party's political arm.
