Common sense in coins

In the report Popular Say In Choice Of Image For Malta Euro Coin, the reporter must have forgotten to ask the committee to make sure that whoever designed the existing Maltese coins would not be involved in the design of the new coins.

It was rather dumb to put an almost identical plant on the 25c and 50c coin and was as dumb to print the digits so small that anyone over 50 can't read them.

It would be most welcome if the designs of different coins are not identical and the digits are big enough to identify even if there is not enough reading light.
