I recently pulled into the new service station situated on the roundabout outside St Dorothy's School in Zebbug and, to my dismay, nobody came over to fill my petrol tank. I waited and waited and still no one offered any service.
By this time I was, understandably, becoming agitated. On getting out of my car I endeavoured to find the mechanism to switch on one of the three pumps which, incidentally, were not marked with the usual "unleaded" or "diesel" signs. Stumped again! No switch! Is someone pulling my leg, I wondered. I drove off. I will not be going back there in a hurry!
Am I right in thinking that these pumps were erected by the same joker who put the "LOVE" in Spinola?
