Italian soprano for Nadur concert

Italian soprano Eva Zampieron will present a concert of sacred music at the Nadur basilica on Wednesday.

The concert, which is being organised by the Nadur local council with the collaboration of the Sliema Philharmonic Society, will be held at 7.30 p.m.

Ms Zampieron has already made a name for herself in various theatres, both in Italy and elsewhere. She has taken part in various operas and concerts around Europe.

The young soprano has also performed in Malta, including at the concert on the eve of Malta's European Union accession. On Saturday she took part in Evviva L'Operetta at the Manoel Theatre.

Entrance to the concert is free.
