Bayern Munich are still waiting for a final decision from Willy Sagnol over whether he will extend his contract or move on at the end of the season.

The French international full-back has been linked in the German press with a move to Italian champions Juventus when his deal is up in 2006.

"Sagnol is a very in-demand player and not just from Juventus," Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge told Bild newspaper.

"We've done everything humanly possible to keep him here. Now we're waiting for his decision."

Sagnol originally announced his intention to leave in September, only to backtrack and say he would talk again to Bayern before deciding.

L'Equipe newspaper quoted Rummenigge as saying he was resigned to seeing Sagnol follow in the footsteps of Robert Kovac, who joined Juventus on a free transfer from Bayern at the end of last season.

"Unfortunately, after Robert Kovac, Juve will take another player from us," he said. "There is nothing we can do about it. The fact is we cannot match the Bianconeri economic power."

Bayern are also waiting for an answer from Michael Ballack on his future, with the Germany captain waiting to listen to offers from abroad before making up his mind.

Brazilian winger Ze Roberto and in-form midfielder Sebastian Deisler have also received contract offers and Rummenigge said he expected them to sign.
