After an absence of nine years players of non-Maltese nationality will again be eligible to turn out for local waterpolo clubs in the ASA- organised competitions.

A motion to this effect was presented by Gozitan club Otters ASC and was passed by ten votes against eight in yesterday's Aquatic Sports Association's annual general meeting at the University Residence, Lija.

Another motion so that clubs could make use of a second foreign player, presented by Sliema ASC, was defeated.

During the meeting, Dr Adrian Camilleri, nominated by Exiles ASC, was appointed in the new post as the ASA vice-president Administration/Education.
